How does Insuremyshop.ie aim to offer the best price?
Insuremyshop.ie will search the market of insurance providers to get you the best deal for your specific requirements. If a shop has been claims free for a period of 3 years or more we can offer an extremely competitive quote. We aim to get shop insurance quotes that are better than the shop insurance renewal offered by your current insurer.
I have had claims on my shop insurance, can I get a quote?
Yes, we use a wide panel of insurance companies, some of which specialise in retail insurance where there have been previous claims. We also work very closely with risk management, health & safety, and security companies, each of which can help reduce your risk profile for future insurance quotations.
How long does a quotation take?
Depending on your type of shop and the type of risk involved, we aim to give you a quote within 48 hours. Call us on 01 231 9320 or, to speed up the process, give us some details of your shop by filling in our quote request form. You will be appointed a Shop Insurance Specialists who will contact you and email you your quote. We can also call to your premises and review your details.
How far in advance can I get a quote?
All written quotations are valid for 30 days from date of issue. If your renewal date is more that 30 days away, we can save your details and contact you at your time of renewal.
How do I pay for my policy?
You can pay for your policy over the phone by Debit or Credit Card, by cheque or bank transfer. Please note, no cover will be in place until payment has been received by Insure My Shop. In most circumstances, we can also arrange for the premium to be paid for in installments by Direct Debit.
How soon can cover be arranged?
Once payment has been received, we can provide immediate cover for your shop.
Are there different levels of cover?
Yes, our policies are tailor-made to suit your needs. We can increase cover in certain areas and reduce cover in others to suit the retail insurance you require. We can arrange set limits to suit your needs eg extra stock at Christmas time or busy periods.
Can I renew my shop insurance policy online?
Yes, you can renew your policy online, just visit our shop insurance renewal page. At present we can only take payments for new business policies with Debit/Credit card over the phone (T: 01 231 9320) or by cheque.
When will I receive my policy documents?
We will issue your policy documents within five working days of receiving payment. If you have changed address, please let us know via our contact form prior to your renewal date.
Does Insuremyshop.ie quote for all types of shops?
Insure My Shop can quote for the majority of shop types whether you own a single shop unit or a chain of retail stores. We can quote for all different types of shops with only a few exceptions. How does Insuremyshop.ie handle my claim?
Your policy documents will give you details of what to do in the event of a claim. Insure My Shop also have an in-house Claims Manager who can assist you in any negotiations with third parties and with completing any paperwork that may be required.
